WELCOME TO TITLE I READING
The Title I reading program works with students that are identified as reading below their grade level in reading. These students receive additional support throughout the day to reinforce their reading skills. We work closely with the various classroom teachers to ensure that all students achieve to their greatest potential. During the year there are numerous opportunities for parent involvement--Literacy Evening, PTO events, Summer Academic Program--that will give parents a chance to assist their child to reach his/her personal best.
Literacy Specialists in the Title I Reading program are Kay Anderson, Karyl Chalfin, and Linda Greene. This year we have an additional half time Literacy Specialist, Jane Coulter, who will also provide literacy services to identified students. We may be reached at 303-347-4159.
