I have worked for Littleton Public Schools since 1983, as well as having four children attend and graduate from Littleton Public Schools.  I have been one of the Kindergarten teachers at East for the past 12 years. I attended Metropolitan State College of Denver. I received a degree in Sociology and I also have dual endorsements in Elementary and Early Childhood Education. In 2001 I received my Master's Degree from the University of Colorado at Denver, where I received a Master of Curriculum and Instruction in Education with an emphasis on English as a Second Language Learners. As a teacher I believe Kindergarten is the one of the most important grades your child will enter.  Your child's kindergarten experience will set the tone for how they view school the rest of their lives.  I strive to ensure each child has a happy, successful,  and safe experience.  I have a passion for reading and good literature.  I hope to instill a love of books and reading, that will help your child throughout their academic career.
