I have taught fifth grade for over fifteen years. Prior to that I taught special education through the Southeast Metropolitan Board of Cooperative Services and worked with special needs children in the Littleton, Cherry Creek, and Englewood School Districts. I earned a BA in Elementary Education from Temple University, a MA in Education of the Visually Impaired from the University of Pittsburgh, and a MA from the University of Northern Colorado in the Education of the Moderately Handicapped. In addition I have acquired ninety plus credit hours from local institutions in writing, reading, math, and science.
